I'm trying to identify an EAA revolver. I bought used in 2008, sold it in 2009. I have never seen another like it and had a chance to buy it back, so I jumped in it.

It's NOT an EAA Windicator. It's blues with a 6" slab side barrel that is drilled and tapped, has a fully adjustable rear site, and is a six shot .357 Mag.

It reminds me of a slab side Dan Wesson.

Any idea what I have?

Here's where I'm gonna send you"

Weihrauch/Arminius HW357 Sport.

Interestingly, Janz did a kind of Dan Wesson knock off too.

Sort of, your pistol meets DW in Germany.

I like the looks of that one. As an aside, how are the EAA Windicators?

I had a Windicator in .38 special. Same slabbed shroud/compensator, just shorter barrel. Not a bad gun, worked reliably, easy to field strip. Only real whine was the zamak frame & trigger group, trigger guard a bit thin given the material. Wouldn't mind having a .22 convertible.

The .357 version of the Windicator is steel. The barrel shroud and trigger guard are still zamak but they're low stress parts.
