It says browning Arms Company St. Louis, Missouri on the side, as well as special steel 2 3/4 only and made in Belgium. There is no model stated on the firearm.
It is a single trigger, with a selector. All blued steel, and some light engraving on sides and bottom.
I will post pictures when I can.

What time period would that have been made in and an idea of said value just for curiosities sake as I plan to keep and shot it once a gun smith has checked it out. I will post part of the serial if you guys tell what part you need first 3 or last 3.
Never mind I found the serial.
Also the barrels are 26 inches long.

judging by the site you suggest the serial number is circa 1932. it is decidedly less than 4000.

knowing that it is probably from '32. what would an estimated value be for this shotgun? for curiosities sake only. As Axel said, we plan to keep it.

You can look on www.gunsinternational.com - there is an entire section on Browning Superposeds. Obviously, a lot depends on the condition. NEVER shoot steel through this gun. Barrel length, chokes, was it a target or field model, etc, etc. will all have an impact on the value

it has a barrel length of 26 1/2 inches. looking at it, it appears that at least one of the barrels has some choke (they are slightly different sizes it seems) but we have not gotten it to a gun smith yet so don't know for sure. i'm not sure we have any way of knowing what kind of model it is unless the gun smith can tell us.

If you post of photo of it on this board there will likely be a few who know what it is.
