I was looking at this Springfield 1911. I cannot find any pics online with these two crest logos on the slide. It says Operator 45 Cal on one side, but on the right side, it has these two logos with no front cocking serrations. Any help identifying what this additional logo on the front is, and does it help identify model or year? Thanks for any help

It is an operator , & the other side stamps appear to prior fields of operation ,or particular ops. They are like the old colts ,absolutely dependable , yet good accuracy.
I Think this is right , but probably not

The symbol on the left is Springfield Armory's logo. The one on the right is some sort of heraldic crest or beret flash but I can't say whose particular coat of arms it is. Sort of reminds me of the one for Thunder Ranch but they have a lightning bolt running across their shield.

I think that according to some heraldic symbols that I have seen the stripe running across the shield symbolizes being in defense of or protection of something. Could possibly be a beret flash for some Special Forces, Ranger, or Airborne unit.

It is just a regular Operator (meaning it has a rail)

The additional crest/shield in front of the Springfield Armory crossed cannons was likely part of a special order/run...it could have been done for a military unit, LE department, or large distributor
