I am going to get my next NFA item in the next month or so. I have it down to 2 Choices. The Huntertown Arms Guardian 22 Micro or the Thompson Machine Wasp. So tell me what you think of them. Host guns will be a p22, 10/22, ar15 with 22 upper, and i might get a bolt action 22 also.

I only have experience with the gemtec and the sparrow. While close in sound, sparrow gets the edge in the multi-caliber dept. (.22, .22mag, .17hmr, and 5.7)

I have a coastal passport which I love.

P22 / Bolt action -- it's scary quiet.

But probably not as quiet as a sparrow or element.

^^ which case one of the two will probably be my next suppressor.

Well as long as everyonelse is recommending off yer list, ill go with Spectre. I can understand why you're getting suggestions other than what you asked, though, because most folks are probably wondering the same thing I am - why would u want a silencer as small as the wasp when you're putting it on a fairly large host? Seems like you could go with a decent size can for the things you plan on using it on.

I am waiting on my stamp for a Huntertown arms Guardian. I have not done any side by side testing with other models, but I did drive out and demo the Guardian with one of the guys from Huntertown. I liked it enough to buy. The Micro model is an inch and a half shorter, so it probably has one less baffle. I'd assume that will make it (or the Wasp) a little louder than the 6" models (including the $270 more expensive Sparrow). As long as you're aware of the tradeoff, get what you want.
