Help needed to ID Sendero model

I just purchased a new remington Sendero in 7mm Rem. Mag. The model I have is parkerized, and the barrel is not fluted.

This model is not in Remington's current catalog. Has it been recently discontinued?

try there website. They should list current calibers offered. I thought they were making the switch to ultra mags on all there new sendero. I could be wrong though.

You're right. It's not in the catalog or on the website. I have seen many parkerized non-fluted Senderos and have shot a couple. It is unfortunate that they have discontinued it, at leat for now.

If you compare the 700 VS (similar to yours with a non-magnum action) to the 700 VS SF (similar to the current stainless fluted Sendero) you will notice a $165 price discrepancy.

The Sendero is offered in the two standard magnum loadings as well as the two Remington short action magnums and the three Remington Ultra Magnums.
