help needed!!!!!!

im looking for a 3 1/2 inch 26 or 28 inch barrel shotgun in Marinecot or parkerized. could it have interchangable barrels, like putting a 18.5 barrel for home defense. are there any in the 200-300 range?

Hmmm, in that price range your looking at a used Remington 870, or Mossberg 500, or possbily a new Maverick 88. But that's for 3" chambers. If you want 3 1/2" chambers it'll be somewhat more then your stated price range.

You can put an WTB ad here on THR in the Buy, Sell and Trade: Rifles and Shotguns section. Also check to see what's currently being offered, IIRC there's one or two still for sale. There's also Guns America and Gun Broker.

Also check your local shops, oft times there are deals to be had, if you know what you are looking for. You can also check Gun Shop Finder to find one near you.

But the most important questions are:
1. What is the main purpose(s) of this shotgun ??
2. What fits you ?? (What have you used/shot in the past ??)

im looking for my cuzin. he would like something that could be used for hunting as well as home defense. he would like interchangable barrels for the purpose. he dose not need anything fancy or expensive, but would like to find something that could take magnum shells.
