I have a 260 Kodiak and I need a scope. One to site in no more than a hundred yards and I like a large eye piece with a good visual cross hairs. My eyesight isn`t as good as it used to be I can`t use the iron sights----it has been a good 25 years since I looked to buy a scope so any help would be appreciated. Thanks

260 Kodiak is a rimfire, right? Check out the Nikon ProStaff rimfire models. There is a 4X, and a new 3-9.
If those don't look like what you have in mind, what is your intended use, and price range?

Don't overlook Tasco. They make good reliable optics. I've got a Tasco 3-9x40 on my Ruger 10-22 and it's great. Cost $34.95 at a local gun shop.

In that price range the Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40 would be my choice if you want a hunting scope, and if you want a tactical scope, the Center Point 4-16x40 would be my choice.
