Can some fellow member please give me a quick run-down on how to attach pics to a posting? Either I am having a touch of the "stupids" or have misread the directions.
Thanks.

The 'sticky' is helpful, but...

To place a picture in your post you have 3 choices:

1) include it as an attachment, in which case it will appear as a thumbnail at the bottom of the message. Readers will have to click on the thumbnail to see a large size version of the image. To use this option you first open a message window as you normally would to post a message (this requires the Advanced message window). Scroll down below the window to the Additional Options area and find the "Manage Attachments" button; clicking that button will bring up a window which has two options: uploading the file from your computer and uploading a file from a web site with URL address. To attach a file that's on your computer, click the Browse button, locate the file and select it, then click Open and Upload in that order. The file will be uploaded to the THR server. If you know the internet web (URL) address of an image file on another computer you can simply type that address into the Upload File From URL window and click on the Upload button; the file will be uploaded to the THR server as above. Close the Manage Attachments window and note the file name now appears just above the Manage Attachments button. If you now Submit your post, the image will appear as a thumbnail at the bottom of the posting.

2) If you'd like the image to appear in the message body rather than as a thumbnail, upload the file as explained above, then right click on the file name in the Attach Files window above the Manage Attachments button below the message. Select Properties, then highlight the file address in the Properties window (it will begin with http://www.thehighroad.org/attachme... appear in the message between the IMG codes.
