Top is a 2" 3rd generation Detective Special.

Middle is a 3" Model 10.

Bottom is a 3" 2nd generation D.S.

Jeez,

Seems like some people think this is an immediate response public service with 24 hour staffing. When they must wait over 2 hours they think its a personal affront. I don't get it.
 
Well, we are all getting paid Big Money to stay on here, consult our expensive gun library's, use our years of experiance, and answer questions in a few minutes 24/7.

He wanted to know the size difference between a 2.5 inch Model 19 and a 3rd generation Detective Special, with pictures.


There aren't a whole lot of guys who own both.

I've got the Mod 10 in both 2" and 4". I also have the Mod 19 in 2 1/2"...No detective special though.

Can anyone else come up with some other pictures comparing the size of a short-barrel K frame to a Detective Special?
