Help, SKS with canted sight!

I just bought a Russian SKS with a canted front sight, so much that I can't zero it at 50 yds! I have the windage of the front sight pushed all the way to the right, (and yes, I know to move it in the opposite direction you want impact to move), and although getting closer to zero than it was, is still about 2.5" off at 50 yds! Is there anything I can do to fix this problem, or is the rifle junk? Thanks-

You could buy a tech-sight for it. It's rear sight that is windage adjustable. It would probably give you enough adjustment between the two sights to get you on target.

Is the entire sight/lug assembly canted? If so, maybe your pins were removed and never replaced.

The entire front sight assembly is canted.

Is the retaining pin in it?

Yes, there is a retaining pin going through the front sight block.

And is your barrel threaded or pinned into the receiver?

It could be a loose barrel, if threaded type... or it could be typical Chinese machine work if it's a pinned barrel and the front sight was pinned in a canted angle.
