I have been searching high and low for .35 Rem ammo from someone other than Remington. All I can find there is 150 and 200 grain core-lokt. While this is not really bad ammo, I have a hard time at the range with grouping from box to box. I don't know if this is manufacturing or what. I am shooting a Marlin 336C with a High end Bushnell optic. If anyone knows of some off the shelf ammo(NOT Remington) or bullets I can reload myself, the information would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks in advance,

Doug

Are you getting groups that don't go to the same place every time (wandering zero), or do your targets look like you were shooting 00 buck at them?
Depending on what the gun is doing, it could be something else.

I once had a Savage 10FP that shot perfectly at about 700 yds. Unfortunately, it hit about 7 feet high at 200. I thought that there was something wrong with the scope mounts, but it turned out that all it needed was the scope just tapped a little to bump the crosshairs loose. After that, it was good to go.
Experience is the best teacher...

On the handloading, I will find my manuals and let you know a little later.

I had a 336 in 35 Remington for a short time. Beautiful wood. Need to shed a couple guns and make a few $$$ so I sold it.

I put 80 rounds through it while I had it. One boxe of 150 Gr Remingtons, two boxs of 200 Gr Remingtons and one box of 200 Gr Winchester. They all shot about the same for me, discounting a change in point of impact. About 2.5"-3" at 100 yards. My personal preference is for the 200 Gr. It didn't have a very good scope on it, that may have been part of the problem. Plus for whatever reason, I've never been able to shoot lever guns as good as bolt guns.

If you're interested in handloading, Hornady has a round nose InterLock in 200 or 250 Gr and Speer has a 220 Gr flat point depending on what you're wanting to do.
