Help With .380acp OAL

I am using Magtech 88 grain JHP.
Data I've seen fluctuates between .94 to .98.
What are you using as a MIN OAL?

The maximum overall length for a .380acp is .980~.984 depending on the reference source. Longer than that and you can have feeding issues.

I find in my manuals that an 88gr jacketed bullets minimum OAL length would be .960 And the length appears the same regardless of powder speed.

When you move to a heavier bullet, like 90~95gr the minimum OAL will change depending on the speed of the powder.

For example I see 95gr jacketed with Accur#2 will have a minimum OAL of only .945. Same bullet with VVN320 minimum OAL increases to .980

But like usual check as many sources as you can, then start at the low end...
