Alright, so I bought 1,000 9mm 125 gr. LTC bullets. I've found data in the Hodgdon manual for 9mm 125 gr. LCN (which I assumed was the same as LTC) but with an OAL of 1.25". For the bullets I've got, that OAL doesn't even put the lube groove below the case mouth.
Because of the contour of the bullet, in order to get the rounds to chamber I have to seat the bullet at 0.970". I have found some 9mm LTC load data in a Lyman manual but that gives an OAL of 1.061" which is still too long. I've always heard 9mm is very sensitive to seating depth which is why I'm hesitant here.
Any suggestions for load data? Do you think I'd be safe to load a few using the Lyman starting data and then chrono them?
Thanks.
