This is a little premature, but i'm asking anyway.
I just got a 9mm conversion barrel (by fire dragon, or something like that) for my XD 40. I have not shot through it yet simply because I haven't gotten to the range. However, when I remove the factory barrel and replace it with the conversion it seems a little snug where the barrel mates with the ejector port on the slide. FYI, I have no idea if I'm using the proper terminology. Thanks for fighting through that.
What can I do to create a better fit before I head to the range? I know talking about conversion barrels on "gunsmithing" may come off like a guy showing up to a NASCAR race in his camry, but I will really appreciate any advice.
I'm in WA, so if you think getting it worked on is my best bet and you know some one in state let me know
