I have a Baby Browning the I took apart, actually I took it apart a bit too much :banghead:

After looking at schematics online I've confirmed I have all the parts and nothing flew off my workbench. I cannot get the transfer bar (part 13 in diagram) to go back in and stay.

Has anyone had a bit more experience with these pistols then me?

I had one that I took apart many years ago. Try inserting an empty magazine as the pistol may have to be cocked prior to inserting the transfer bar.

OK, try this. Install the trigger, making sure the hole in the trigger extension shows through the hole in the frame. Hold the trigger with the left hand. Now look through the rear hole in the frame you will see a little wire spring sticking up from about the 5 oclock position. Hook the rear pin of the transfer bar in front of that spring. Push the bar in and back and hold the back while you move the trigger until the front pin can go in the hole in the trigger. Done.

(The transfer bar is held in by the right grip, so it won't really "stay" with the grip off, but it shouldn't jump out.)
