Help with Romanian SAR-1 serial number

The serial number on the receiver of the rifle shows S1-XXXXX-99. I know S1 means SAR-1 and 99 is the date but is S1-XXXXX-99 the serial number or is it XXXXX? Internal parts have matching XXXXX numbers. I had the rifle checked out as S1-XXXXX-99 to make sure it was legit, but I'm a little confused as to the actual serial number. Thanks in advance.

If that number is on the receiver and it was manufactured and transferred as such, then it is legally the serial number of the rifle.
