Help with VA purchasing laws

Ok, since we are all throwing logic out the window...
It's not about logic-it's about what's legal, or what your local PD, BATFE, DA, etc believes is legal as they read/interpret the law.
You can always take your chances in court-who knows, you might win!

In our scenario here we fail to accomplish the second half of that transaction. Person A gives person B the money to buy a gun with - BUT PERSON B is KEEPING the gun for themselves! Thus - no straw purchase. There was never intent for person A to obtain that gun.
You try that in our neck o' the woods after Bloomberg's boyz fiasco and you ain't getting a gun. As stated earlier-you find yourself short 1 penny and borrow it from your bud, the gun's going back in the case.

Dealers around here ain't about to try to divine your intent-they're all in CYA mode.

AFA gifts, while I generally gloss over that section, I believe there is a section on the form that covers giving guns as gifts.
