Dunno about the Henry . . . but I had one of the earlier versions for a long time when I was a kid. A lot to be said for it. That, and a couple boxes of .22 could keep meat on the table/over the campfire for a long time.
I had one in the early 70's when I was backpacking and canoeing a lot. Worked great,light and it even floats. When I when to a bigger boat I when to a Savage 24 in .22lr/20ga wish I had kept both guns.
