Hi I'm new. Just wanted to post about a awesome experience with Anothony Imperato of Henry repeating arms. I had emailed him about how I really liked his guns plus would be purchasing a few very soon. I also mentioned I like the long ranger but is there a chance for a 7-08 or 7mm rem mag. He promptly answered my email thanked me for my interest said those calibers are yet not available. Then offered me and my wife the new campfire mugs free of charge. Which was great . I even called my folks to tell them. So my package gets here not only was there cups but to awesome ball caps included. Being newly disabled you see how hard life and people can be . So when you find kindness you really welcome it. To see my wife smile and be excited was heart touching. I haven't even bought my guns yet but you can bet soon as I can a lot of new Henry's for me and my wife are coming home.

Welcome to THR. That's a nice gesture on Mr. Imperato's part. I bought a Big Boy .357 Magnum about a year ago and it's not only a great shooter but is a beautiful gun as well. Make sure to let us know when you get yours, and post some pictures if you can.

Henry seems to be one of those great overlooked companies. Almost every component made in America with American material and nice pieces. I had a Henry .22 lever action and the action was smooth as butter.

Welcome to The High Road.

Thank you for the welcome. I'll differently post pics and reviews. I'm replacing my collection I had to sell to make it through tough times. So there's going to be a few Henry's in my future. The long ranger in 243 has my attention has a yote and deer rifle. I've been shooting since I was 5 and reloading started about 6 years ago. I know quality after 41 years of kick around and Henry repeating arms is quality. The gifts were a awesome gesture and icing on the cake. I also will enjoy sharing and learning on this site . Again thank you have a great day.

Nice to know that there's still a company out that understands how to promote great customer relations, especially if you haven't even purchased anything from them yet.

The Long Ranger's worth waiting for & Anthony's a good man.

A couple of years ago, a buddy of mine got a Henry Big Boy in .44 magnum for a birthday present. Shortly after, while out at the range with friends, it got knocked off the shooting bench, and ate up a bunch of concrete. I was able to polish out the scratches on the receiver, and Henry hooked him up with new furniture for the rifle free of charge.

That gesture by them made me make sure to put a few more Henry rifles into my collection. Good companies that care about their customers deserve our support, and Henry's right up there at the top of the pile.

I'll jump on the wagon; I'm a fan, too.

I used/abused my Henry Golden Boy lever .22 in dry firing practice for cowboy action shooting. Yeah I know you shouldn't dry fire a .22, but I did, and broke the firing pin. The nice folks at Henry replaced the firing pin and my only cost was mailing the rifle to them.

Excellent customer service in my opinion.

I still use the Golden Boy for dry fire practice, but just lever it, I don't pull the trigger any more!!

My grandson is named Henry. Guess what his first gun will be...
