Folks,
I've searched, read and can't search or read no more...
I have a question(s) that I can't seem to find a definitive answer to. I know that the Henry Golden Boy lever 22 has a brass colored plate over the receiver... but what about the 30-30 brass model?
Does this brass model use a plate or is the receiver a solid piece of brass colored alloy or brass itself?
The website states the Henry Big Boy (38/357/44) has a solid brass receiver... but no mention of the 30-30 model. Now by solid brass, do they mean 100% brass?!?!
Additionally, what about the rest of the rifle? What is it made of internally (as in inside the receiver)? How about the butt-plate?
I need details before I plunk down $$$.
****** I'm well aware of Marlins and appreciate them. I'm just looking for something different *******
