Has anyone seen anything good or bad on the red dot scope and base from Heritage MFG,for there rough rider 22 revolvers? I know on the web site it's $40. and the revolver has to be drilled and taped to mount it.
Thanks, Tracy

I just got 5/6 hits on my 3/4inch dot from 15 yards standing with my Heritage 22 w/ 4 1/2 in barrel. Woot! I'm interested in a red dot too... has anyone tried that thing?

I like 'Em.

As of last year, they are the #3 manufacturer of revolvers in the USA. That must stand for something (www.HeritageMfg.com). And, no, I have no relation to the company.

Reasonably priced, and in .22LR/Mag, .32Mag, .357 and 45 Colt, I think. Their larger-bore SA's are made in Spain and assembled here.

I want one of the smaller, .32Mag SA revos w/ the bird's head grips.

Looking forward to your report... mine is 5 1/2in barrel with Birds Head grips. I was planning on ordering the plow backstrap and the oversized grips (see photo)... but I found out you have to do some gunsmith fitting to get the plow backstrap to be solid on my gun. Has anybody done that procedure?

Here's a pic of the red dot scope I found too, in case anybody is interested:

And here's a pic of a gun that looks like mine, but this one has a shorter barrel:
