Hey all, AIM Surplus is having a sale this week

The CZ52 is a really curious pistol. It fires a bottle necked 7.62x25 mm round. Standard loads clock at about 1450 fps, and the gun can safely be loaded to higher velocities. As a result, it's a very flat-shooting pistol.

It's a neat 1950's comblock design that is quite accurate (despite the ergos and chincy sights) and will get attention at the range. (Think big boom, nice muzzle flash.)

The only real caveat is that if you get one, you should pop over to www.makarov.com and order the 16# Wolff recoil spring and a new firing pin for it, as the ones originally made for the pistol will break if you dry fire the gun with any regularity.

Its definately an unusual gun to have in the collection, and one that a lot of people don't know about. Plus its a lot of fun at the range.

I don't have a 30.06, and have never bought ammo for one, but with people complaining about the high price of 30.06 ammo, I think $170 for a case of 1000 rds. is a good deal!

SKS for $100 delivered!?!?!? Great!!! I've been looking for a good deal on a SKS and... Aww crap. It has the evil grenade launcher and I'm just a lowly serf. Oh well.:(

When AIM had 308 nato surplus available last year, I picked up 11 cases of Port for 149.00 a case delivered for use in the M1A's.

Got enough now for the next few years. I make my own 9mm and 45acp

FWIW, I live close enough to AIM that I can just pick stuff up in person. They are great to deal with in that manner, anyway. Not really set up as a store, just a little room at the front of the offices with a counter. Nice to be able to look before you buy. Couldn't pass up the CZ-52s when they were $110. Noisy as heck, bur reliable and accurate. Get a little extra ammo whenever you can, if you've no plans to reload for it. The ammo isn't always in stock, and probably won't ever be relatively plentiful.
