Hey Guys
I was talking to one of the owners of our newest Sacramento Indoor Range and I had an idea pop up for the next THR Sacramento Meet.

NIGHT SHOOT!!!!!!!

The range said "yes" but this would be something that would be heavily supervised and we could do it in several different ways. The most fun would be a "Friendly" competition with some prizes involved.

I need your opinions. Let me know who would be interested. It would be had during daytime hours (of course) but the range lighting would be turned way way way down for the use of Tactical lights and Night Sights.

It this happens we would all have a pre-shoot meet to discuss safety rules and all the usual stuff to keep everyone safe.

I think this would be so fun but I need everyones help in setting this up.

Let me know what you guys think

EDIT to add there is no set date as I have to do some research and find out what needs to be done to get this shoot set up.

i'm in....unless it happens to be one of those days when the bb or wifey have somthing pre-planned...

carnitas - it is a very nice range, everything is clean and new and it is right off the freeway with plenty of parking

45R - we could have the pre-meeting over pizza or somthing...my only chronic bad days are tues and thur evenings

I'm in. (Hey, just realized I never changed my profile after moving...yup, I'm in Sacramento, right next to "the house of 1,000 weasels".)

I'm in, but I'll need someone to shine their flashlight on my target while I shoot. I can't multitask while I"m shooting.

I would like to make it down there...I'm up in Marysville...work schedule is always fluctuating, but I'm definitely interested. If you pick a date, I'll do what I can to make it.

esheato...

I dont mean to hijack the thread but.... Jim WTH ARE YOU NOT IN PLACER COUNTY!!! After beating your head against the CCW wall for years why not just take the easy road man?

Ummmmm...because I'm now employed as the California Field Rep for the CCRKBA (www.ccrkba.org) and the gig comes with a modest but decent apartment right across the street from the state capitol?

Oh well, its probably just as well. If you actually got a permit you might be tempted to slack off. ;)

Will we be seeing you at any action pistol matches or whathaveyou, now that you're local?
