I've been looking for an extended length/capacity 1911 mag. I've seen plenty of 10rds and the 25rd drum mag. but a pawn shop here has a ria that they are selling with an extended "clip" and I can't talk them into selling me just the magazine. I want it for a novelty I don't imagine them to work all that great but if there is one better then the other I would prefer the maker of the better. So does anyone know where to find one?

    Thanks

If it's a double stack will it fit a "regular" 1911?

    no

and RIA makes both 1911A1 and A2s, so it could be for the A2

    It's not a double stack. It's just a single stack. I don't think it's a RIA magazine it's just with a ria gun

I have two 10-round Mecgars that work fine. You can find them fairly cheaply.

Just my humble opinion, but I would take a 10 round Mecgar over a, well...anything Promag, any day.

Pick up some 10 round SS CMC power magazines at Midway when they are on sale. They have been totally reliable for me; I highly recommend them.
