Hi cap mag for a Mosin nagant?

Has anyone ever seen a mosin nagant with a mag cap over 5 rounds? like a custom job? Or has that yet to be done?

No I don't think it would work the Mosin-Nagant is not a stagger box magazine and to do a custom job would require a mod to most of the receiver

Actually reloading a 5 round magazine gives you a "break"

yes and no; the ruskies did make a semi auto, that takes 10 or 20 round mags, but it is not the mosin, though some peeps say it reminds them of one.
but the mags are gonna cost you!!!!

That's the truth. The 1903 Springfield actually has a magazine cutoff to keep the troops from wasting all their ammo with "spray and pray".


On the other hand, there was a 20 round mag for the Mauser 98 and there also was a rare Air Corps version of the Springfield with a 20 round mag.
