Does anyone have any experience with the Hi-Capacity magazines from Cabella's? I just got their lastest issue and saw some 15, 20 and 30 round magazines.

Anyone? Anyone?

Triple K or Pro Mags? They have both on the website.

Usually, I hear that the Triple K are only good for shooting at, and the Pro Mags, if they work, are okay for the range.

I remember handling a Triple K mag a while back, makes the Pro Mags feel really good... even the USA brand seems a bit better, but if they work, they work I guess.

ProMags work very, very, well in my Browning HP. I used four during a pistol class in which I fired, IIRC, around 1200 rounds. No malfs at all during the class.

Or since, for that matter. Good deal in standard cap (13-rd) mags.

Can't speak about how they work in other pistols.

Bought triple K for my taurus PT 92. They didn't fit. After and hour with a hammer and pliers, they fit and function perfectly.

I bought some Western mags from a guy over at ar15.com a couple years back... 6 30-rounders and 2 40-rounders. Unbelievably, they actually work pretty well. I think I had 2 out of the whole bunch that didn't work consistently. I've heard other people haven't faired as well. YMMV.

USGI mags are really the way to go for reliability (when talking about an AR15 anyway).

How the heck does Triple K even manage to stay in business???

I guess all those suckers out there are too embarassed to ask for their money back. I bought one for a Colt .380, and it was so pathetic that I promptly returned it to Brownells. The thing actually slopped around inside the magwell.
