I have one that was purchased directly from Ciener and given to me as a Christmas present. It fits only one of my BHPs but works well on the one.
I did have a question/problem and tried contacting Ciener via phone. No luck. Internet won't work either. Sent two letters---never answered. My last phone call was made a few minutes before business hours and Mr. Ciener answered the phone. As soon as I introduced myself, he started to tell me just how dumb I was for asking such a question. This chiding went on, but he finally answered my question and convinced me there was no problem with the hardware. (He really is the South end of a North bound horse). However-----he was correct with his answer. I have near 500 rounds through it with no problems.
Maybe a "dealer" has a special way of contacting and communicating with him, but I doubt it. If you want one, just buy it.
My big problem with the .22 kit is why have one in the first place. When using it, the only thing unchanged with the basic gun is the trigger. So it might be good for "trigger training". My rangemaster says he wants one to "train" with. Why train without noise and recoil ? On the plus side, you can shoot cheaply, but with little purpose other than "fun".
The BHP is easy to shoot and performs very well in 9mm.
