OK. Overall, I like the look of the holster but have a couple of things I'd like to see changed:
1- The trigger needs more cover. I can see daylight between the front of the trigger and the edge of the holster.
2- It looks like the area where the rivets are located are glued (bonded) and riveted. I'd prefer to see stitching around this area to mechanically prevent separation of the two layers of leather. Plus, it just looks better.
3- The stitching around the mouth reinforcement looks to be uneven and isn't up to the quality of the molding. To me, the stitching detracts from the potential quality of this holster. From this photo, it looks like the bottom of the reinforcement (where it isn't stitched) might be separating from the body of the holster. Perhaps stitching all the way around might be appropriate? On the other hand, I pocket-carry a Kimber Ultra Carry in a custom holster that doesn't have any reinforcing around the mouth and haven't had any problem with the mouth collapsing. Is the extra thickness of the reinforcing really needed in a pocket holster?
4- The molding looks great, however I wonder if it might offer too much retention and allow the holster to tend to come out of the pocket with the revolver?
I like the general look of the holster and, except for the few areas I mentioned, it looks like a quality product. I may be in the market for another pocket holster in the future and I have bookmarked this thread for reference. I hope you can make this new business succeed! Good luck!
