As a result of my own testing I have found the following:

1. Kriss .45 Mag extenders (25+ rd--I fit 28) are totally reliable.
2. Arredondo Mag extenders (both .45 and 10mm) are totally reliable.
3. Korean KCI 26 rd (actually 27) mags are totally unreliable. They explode from even a short fall to the ground. The mag latch cutouts are .0030" shallower that Glock mags and they fall out regularly from recoil.

Are there any other options out there for .45 and 10mm high cap Glock mags?

Why am I asking? Well, I'd like to have a >20rd (Arrendondo) option for 10mm.

Also, because they are thicker than stock Glock mags in the fore-to-aft direction, neither the Kriss nor the Arrendondo will fit with my Fab Defense Glock Stock in place. the KCI mags would work (if they worked at all).

Is there an index hole for round 27? Stuffing 27 rounds into a 26 round mag may be why its unreliable.

I've had great results with the KCI .40S&W and 9mm mags, both normal length and extended. I've never tried the .45ACP Korean made Glock mags.

KCI Mags are marked 27rd and have 27 holes. For some reason they are marketed as 26 round mags. The 27th round goes in nice and easy like the last round in a factory mag. My reliably problems have nothing to do with feeding. They are due to the mag not staying in the gun and the mag exploding on contact with the ground from even a 2' drop. My mother did not raise any idiots.

Replacing the cheap KCI +2 floor plate with the stock Glock floorplate reduces capacity to 25rd and allows the magazine to be dropped without exploding. Now I just need to solve the dropping problem. I am debating filing the mag catch latch deeper and testing it but on the other hand I am thinking about just chucking the mags into the garbage.

I think you've answered your own question. If a Glock floor plate keeps the KCI mag from "exploding," why not fix the hole for the mag catch. If that makes them reliable, it fixes your issues and gives you a mag with the capacity that you're looking for.

Saw a post where a guy dropped his Glock 26 on the bathroom floor. Pearce mag extension popped off and vomited all the cartridges. And the mag was still in the gun!

KCI feed lips on my G17 and 19 mags started out a little too wide. After bending them inwards a little, they have stayed put through thousands of rounds, not a single issue. Love 'em. The only problem is that I can't get the 15th round into the KCI G19 mags. I could barely squeeze it in when I used jacketed/plated bullets, but my cast reloads are just a little too wide. KCI decided to make these mags a little shorter than the stock mags, so that they actually fit flush with the bottom of the G19 frame. Those Korean engineers are apparently perfectionists who only use factory ammo. :)

Deepening the mag latch slot on a plastic magazine? That's done before breakfast. A dremel, file, even a sharp knife will take care of that!

I'm confused is this question regarding a 20 (10mm) or a 21 (45acp)?

While the Kriss mag extension will fit on the Glock 20 mag body the spring that is supplied will not fit in the 20 mag body.

Also the spring end does not fit the 10mm follower. I have no intent to attempt getting a Kriss to work with 10mm. The KCIs are relatively easy to convert with just closing the lips a bit and seem to feed well (and can still used with 45). The 27rd .45 mag holds 31 10mm. I'm guessing 28 r 29 with a Glock floorplate.

There are two different 10mm followers and it will fit the earlier style. I am going to try some different springs designed for the 140mm STI and para mags in mine to see what might work.........

I'm confused. Why wouldn't you just buy Glock magazines? They're readily available and not expensive.
