High capacity mags for the Savage 30/06

Does anyone know if they make "high capacity" magazines for the Savage 111 in 30/06? I can't think of a "practical" use for it, but always thought that rifle would look really cool with an extended magazine.

I don't believe that anyone makes extended mags for the Savage. There might be some bolt-actions somewhere with an extended mag, as everything under the sun has been designed at one time or another, but they would be a rarity. Generally, you have to go to semi-auto rifles for that feature. BARs where made in .30-06. There are some nice battle rifles made in .308 too.

You can get 20 round "trench" magazines for M98 Mausers, and there is an outfit that makes Enfields that take M14 or FAL magazines, but none for Savages.

Thanks for the welcome. Will the BAR mags work in the Savage? It's one of those "trivial" things, so trivial, I never remember to bring one to any of the gun shows to match up. The flush mag just looks silly on an otherwise "slick" looking long gun.
