Looking for non mainstream brand reloading tools like bench blocks, case prep tools and anything of that nature. What have you been using. Without pics this thread is dead.

A thread of reloading toold for the Connoisseur!!!!

Although I am not a bench rest shooter, when I wanted to learn about reloading .308, I gleaned a lot of information from The Rifleman's Journal.

Measuring tools - http://riflemansjournal.blogspot.com/2010/03/reloading-measuring-case.html

Neat stuff bds.
I was going to brag on my Redding competition seaters, but I think I'll just look at your pic's instead.

Going through K&M tools website, I got a laugh when I realized K&M hand priming tool used Lee Auto Prime shell holders - http://www.kmshooting.com/catalog/primer-seater-tools/primer-deluxe.html

So does that mean I have in my possession some "high end/custom" reloading tools? ;) :D

If you need proof, here's the link for Lee Auto Prime shell holders - http://www.kmshooting.com/catalog/miscellaneous-items/lee-auto-prime-shell-holder.html

I would never dream of using budget reloading equipment. I turn my nose up at such stuff.
I only use the top of the line Hornady LNL press and the absolute best dies that Lee makes. I spare no expense when it comes to launching precision projectiles.

Google up VICKERMAN seating dies. They have been around for quite sometime and they look very interesting. I am going to upgrade to them in the near future, just haven't done it yet.

What we might consider "High End" reloading equipment is, like beauty, mainly in the eye or mind of the beholder. In many, it not most, examples, High End relates to utility, workmanship and, of course, price. Generally speaking, however, the typical reloader is not aware of truly high end equipment simply because such items are seldom listed in general catalogs or sold in ordinary gun shops. That being because they tend to be specialty items offered to a tiny but demanding segment of the reloading public. For example, attached is a photo of a primer seating tool specially designed and built for the most precise primer positioning possible. Following posts will include photos of other reloading tools that might be considered "High End" but while I consider these tools adequate for my current needs I'm certain that somewhere there are tools better and more use specific. There is always something better. Only four photos are allowed per post, so there will be following posts with photos not shown in any order. Too many items to describe in detail, but mostly their use(s) are pretty obvious. If not, I'll answer questions. None are offered for sale.

I just skimmed through the thread and didn't see the Prometheus scale. I can't remember what the cost was but you only rent it for some insane amount of money. Here's a video about the second version of the scale. http://youtu.be/6scLPhkT-8w
