Specifically, has anyone had any really good or really bad first-hand experiences? I'm looking at buying my first carry rig (for my first handgun, a Kimber Pro Carry) and from thier website they seem to sell a comparable product at a cheaper price. And if it says so on the internet, then it must be true. All responses are much appreciated.

I have a Hidden Impact and a Hidden Ally for my Kahr P9 Covert. Great holsters. I've really owned two other 'good' holsters and both are Milt Sparks. The High Noons do everything I think a holster should do, but they ain't as nice as the Milt Sparks.

For lighter weight guns, I'd have zero problems recommending High Noon as being basically on par with pretty much all the other higher end makers. For fuller weight guns... well, the Sparks on a good belt are pretty nice... I've had the Versa Max 2 and the Summer Special 2 1911 holsters and for about $70, the Summer Special is a very nice holster for a very approachable price...

And be sure to get a good quality gun belt. Don't get a nice gun and a great holster and cheap out when it comes to the belt... You'l just be that much more likely to become one of the hordes that say the 1911 is uncarryable on a daily basis. ;)

I really like High Noon because they ship pretty fast and they have just about the best return policy in the business.

A lot of high end holster manufacturers seem to build semi-custom and once you buy it, you pretty much own it. If you buy directly from them, High Noon will let you exchange it or give you your money back. And lead time is a week or two instead of 4-6.

I currently have a Down Under with clip and am about to buy another. I like the "ear" that helps retain the firearm and keeps it off your skin, and the adjustable tension. An outstanding design. www.highnoonholsters.com

I own two of their fine holsters and have been very satisfied with the quality of their work. I carry a Sig220st in their Hidden Ally and a PM9 in their Pocket Grabber.

I have 2 of thier "Mr. Softy" IWB holsters. One for my S&W 342, and one for my Steyr S40. for $25 holsters I'm very happy with them.

I use a Slide Guard for every gun I carry. They are very well-made, fit nicely, and carry well. For a full size 1911, the holster carries the pistol very high for easy concealment. I don't think you'd be disappointed with their products or service, but don't pay extra for next day shipping. They don't ship until the holster has been made, so you won't get it in 2 days anyway.

I have a tail gunner for my SA XD-9. I liked it enough that I have another one for my 229 on the way. I don't anticipate needing any other holsters any time soon, but I have every intention of ordering from High Noon whenever I do need another holster. I'm able to conceal a full size XD-9 with the tail gunner, and a loose t-shirt. And I've never, ever had it shift on me. I'm not sure what more I could really ask for (and reasonably expect to get).

High Noon Topless

Have a HighNoon Topless for a CZ40B.
Have been very pleased.
It is very well built and fits the gun just right.

Customer service was excellent as far as answering questions and providing suggestions.
Price and lead time is very hard to beat.

Went w/ the lined cowhide. As you can see; the thread is a gold color, which I'm not wild about. Too 'Pimpy'; Oh well, it is a concealment holster so no one will see it- Right?

Only regret was maybe should have gone w/ the horsehide option.
More durable (no trouble w/ cowhide so far though) and more of a subdued color.

I had two for my Sig 232, a softy and a tuckable. Like them both, good holsters. They went when I traded in the 232 this past weekend on a Kahr PM9. For a pocket holster for that, I ordered a Fist K5. I liked the thumb release on it.

I use a Slideguard daily for CCW'ing a SIG P220. In fact, the slideguard is by far my favorite holster, and plan on owning one for each pistol that I plan holstering.

I also have the Slideguard with the snaps, to keep my summer CCW (Kahr K9) from inadvertently chucking itself if I'm doing anything active like riding a motorcycle.

Indeed, HNH are the best deal for the money, and as mentioned ship fast. Plus the service is friendly.

hidden impact for pm9

A question for you guys with the hidden impact. I'm looking for a tucker for summer use for a pm9 and was wondering how well the clip works and does the holster shift around much.

I have the Hidden Alley which is the softer, Kinder brother of the the Hidden Impact.

The clip is tough, once it clips on it ain't lettin go, and I have never had a problem with it shifting. Since the H.I. is made from a stiffer leather I think there would be an even less of a chance of it shifting.

I chose the softer version because on long trips I take the gun out and the holster colapses down to nothing. Reholstering has never been much of a problem, besides a super fast reholster is not a requirement of mine.

The clips are as strong as any others I've ever used or seen... I have one pair of pants and one pair of shorts that fit right (with the gun) and I don't even need the belt... the clip grabs on to the cloth strong enough... Not recommending that method... :p

Only fault I can find and it's one where you can't please all the people all the time, is I wish the clip was about 1/4" narrower... that is to say, I wish it was made to fit a 1.25" belt as the maximum... Or maybe have that as an option... Maybe they do... :uhoh:
