I have an FEG High Power clone. When I first shot it, the trigger pin kept moving out of the frame sideways. When I looked it up on the old High Power website (seems to have disappeared, BTW) the most common fix was to take out the trigger group and put a little more bend in the trigger return spring, which holds the pin in place.

Well, I did something wrong, because the front end of the TRS no longer contacts the frame when I go to put it back together. I'm not having any luck bending it back, although I'm still trying. It looks like the pin it rotates on is peened in place.

Any ideas as to what to do next?

I did the EXACT same thing on a HP Practical. Now I'll just have to replace the spring.

I don't understand. The part that engages the frame for trigger return is in front of the loop. The part that holds the trigger pin (by fitting into the groove in the pin) is in the back of the loop. It only needs a tweak if it is not retaining the trigger pin. Plus, the spring should have plenty of engagement with the frame. Are you sure you are not putting the trigger pin through the loop in the spring rather than the smaller pin in front of it?

Jim

The pin that goes through the loop appears to be fixed- if I could get it out I could probably fix the problem. I'll try to post a couple pictures tomorrow.
