I just recently bought a High Standard Supermatic Tournament model with the military barrel. Where can I find extra, preferably original manufacturer, mags?

Keep your eyes open on E Bay. Try to get the originals and be prepared to pay some money for them.
They will go for close to 50 bucks.

Try Midway.

Also, gunparts USA. I had my dealer pick one up for my Duramatic while I was "out of the office", but I forget where he said he got it. New manufacture, though. Personally, I hesitate to buy used mags. You might be buying someone else's problem child.

Yup, thanks, I just tried them, I see no reference to High Standard on their list. I DID find some at the High Standard site and also one on EBAY but it doesn't look to be much cheaper than the factory's price so I may just go that way. Mine is a 107 with about a 1970 serial #, hopefully that doesn't foul me up. I'm waiting for a response from the factory.

oops, didn't see the reference to "gunparts" I'll check them too.

go into this with the knowlege that you pretty much WILL have to tweek and tune the magazine to the pistol. High Standards are known for this, the original factory mag would have been tuned to the pistol. and the odds of a new magazine working "fresh out of the wrapper/box" are not high. but you may get lucky.

So it's a feeding issue we're looking at. Thanks for that. I found I had to do the same thing with my Ruger MKIII mags to get it to feed reliably.

Yup, figured I'd let you all know I contacted High Standard MFG in Texas and purchased 2 mags through them. Should have them in less than 10 days he said. $51 each including shipping.

Thanks for the help!!
