I paid $1100 for an HK45CT about 6 months ago. It cost a little more as it has the threaded barrel and night sights. It's my EDC pistol and without a doubt the finest handgun I've ever owned. It's one I'll never get rid of. :)

Most I ever paid was $3600.00 for my USPSA Open Division race gun. Yes, I still have the gun. Was it worth the money? That's pretty subjective.

Thompson center Contender G-2 I now have 5 different Barrels 5 diffrent scopes
I now have just over 3,000 tyed up in it but anything from a gopher to grizz I can take care of.
It is one of those guns that would be the last thing that I eill ever sell.

Paid $1200 for a CZ Custom Shop Shadow; it has been worth every single dime . . . and then some.

I'm a poor boy. The most I've ever paid was $655 for my deer rifle, and that's with the rings, and scope OTD. It was definately worth it to me. It's a great shooter.

I use to say anything over $700 for a gun is just TOO expensive.
Then I bought my 5" 629 classic.
It went to anything over $1000 is just TOO expensive.
Then my wife bought me the 460 I'd been drooling over for 3 years, $1200.
So now I don't know what's too expensive.
But I have both and they were worth every cent.

I feel the same way. I used to think $500 was too expensive now it's $1000. I did pay $1300 - $300 rebate = $1000 for a SIG 556 before the price crashed. Now my most expensive is a Fusion 1911 in 38 super at $1400 that I haven't even taken to the range yet.

That is a slippery question. The 1100 for a competition ar-15 this year may be more numerically than a 250 dollar handgun I bought thirty years ago but I can tell you for sure that 250 dollar handgun was the most expensive gun I ever bought in terms of my resources to purchase with.

I put about $700 into an old Sig that I paid $350 for, it was worth it to me but my friends think Im crazy. I still have the gun and wont sell it.

I think I paid close to $700 for my XDM. I feel as though it was a good deal for the money, very solid gun with a nice case and plenty of extras. 3500 rounds downrange and aside from a hurt wallet it has performed excellently.

I think I paid $139 or $149 for my Model 27-2, but that was about 1961. Not much in todays dollars, but it was almost a months pay back then.

PTR 91, semi auto .308 $1400 was it worth it? If you need a folding stock semi auto .308 then yes.
Most expensive handgun was an HK USP Tactical .45acp $1100

I paid $800.00 for one of my handguns (a Sig) but I have 2 (the Sig & a Kimber) with around $900.00 and 1 (a S&W) with around $1000.00 invested if you include the mods and accessories. I still own all 3 at this point in time.
