Hello All,

I just wanted to do a quick review on the Hipertouch 24C AR Trigger.

1 month ago a colleague of mine was showing off a new trigger he had purchased. While first looking at the trigger, I could see a red bulky plastic piece and a straight trigger. First glance I was not very impressed, especially when he told me it cost him over $200 (YIKES). I then got an opportunity to hold the weapon, and do a more thorough inspection. making sure the weapon was unloaded, I decided to dry fire to see what this trigger was about.

I first noticed how the red plastic piece on the trigger had a slight curve in it, that fit my finger very naturally. The trigger was nice and wide, but not to wide making me feel like I had complete control. After placing my finger on the trigger, I took the weapon off safe and pulled. To my surprise there was no creep at all. The trigger felt very light, and I fell in love. To make things better I cycled the weapon and checked the reset, the shortest reset of any AR trigger I have ever felt. I decided then I had to do a little research on this.

I watched some youtube reviews, and read good things on the internet. I decided what the heck, I better purchase one.

I received the trigger parts, and quickly installed them. It is a very easy install, and the trigger can be adjusted with a pair of springs that are included. there are a total of three (3) spring sets, I decided to go with the lightest. After install I wanted to test trigger weight. The trigger would consistently break at 1.75lbs with no creep. The trigger reset is next to nothing.

I did have an opportunity to bring the gun to the range, and unfortunately I think I am going to have to buy a Hipertouch for all of my AR's. Only down fall I can find so far is the price. If any of you guys like the long range AR game, or are into 3-gun, this is it. As you can tell, so far I am impressed, if anything changes I will update the thread.

Thanks!

I also have one Hipertouch, and it is a model that they only made for a short time - it's a 24C, but it has a normal curved trigger. Can't tell it from a factory trigger by appearance.

I have that one Hipertouch and a number of Geissele SSA-E triggrs. The Hipertouch is NOT a 2-stage trigger, it's a single stage. That's the first thing that is different. The Hipertouch comes with 3 separate sets of springs to alter the pull weight significantly. The triggers work well and operate with different principles than the factory FCG. Go to their web site and look at one of their videos. Quite interesting.

My opinion, fwiw - I like the Hipertouch, but it is not as light and crisp as the SSA-E triggers in my opinion, and I prefer a 2-stage trigger. It's all subjective. The Hipertouch is very nice though.

All of them are drop-in. No need for a Gunsmith.
