Again....no blood on the broadhead means no blood coming outta the deer. Is not a mystery to me that they found no blood and no dead deer.
I have to say why does it seem like you take offense to things? I'm not trying to be a jerk but some of your comments seem a little condescending at times. :(. I was just stating that they made an effort to look again for it when conditions were a little better not trying to get a pissing contest going.

Nothing here for me to take offense to, and I too am not looking to get into a pissing match, cause I just don't care. Only repeating the obvious trying to point it out and get you to comprehend. No blood on the broadhead, there's not gonna be any blood on the ground, nor a dead buck on the ground.....at least not that one, not from your buddies bolt. A arrow/bolt kills by blood loss. The broadhead is the principle factor in blood loss and needs to penetrate somewhere there is main blood flow to kill. Even non-lethal areas on a deer have blood in them and will leave a trace of blood on the broadhead. Meat and hair does not mean a lethal hit, a loud "crack" on impact does not mean a lethal hit, no blood on the broadhead confirms it. While how the broadhead removed itself from the bolt is a mystery, the fact there's no dead deer is not. I'd put my money on the idea the bolt shattered when it hit the ground after a glancing hit.

As for the person taking offense to things, you need to look in the mirror. A good majority of your threads here are about you....taking offense to someone else. Your hunting buddy for deserting you. Land owners for giving permission to others. Other hunters hunting your own area and you take offense from other posters when they don't agree with you. It's always the other guy that has the "issues", not you. You seem to be new to the sport of hunting and one reason I have tried to give you advice and tolerate some of your naive responses/questions, whether it be reloading or hunting.

All that post of not finding it the next morning was is to let everyone know that more effort was put in. Pieces of meat in the blades tells me contact was made with the deer in some area so effort was needed to find it or what went wrong. I'm sorry I annoy you and a few others with my posts but this is a talk forum and what the site is for. I ask questions in the reloading section cause i'm a tinkerer and not having anyone to guide me i ask questions.

Hunting-yes its a cluster ... My buddy wasn't who i thought he was, trespassers will always trespass, etc. Sometimes we just need to vent a little bit. Hope you have a nice holiday. :)

Guessing that we've just about solved this mystery. Case closed..
