From all the jabber I heard before his trial, I thought he's be gone for forty years. Turns out he walks.

The "major" media stayed away from the story from start to finish. Didn't want to tarnish Hitlary, I guess. Anybody know anything for sure about the evidence and the jury, etc.?

You don't really think that Bill and Hillary got rid of the blackmail files that stopped the impeachment process in it's tracks, do you? They're untouchable, at least until the people they've got the dirt on no longer have any clout.

Bill Clinton was impeached by the house, he wasn't removed from office by the senate. Some folks think that he blackmailed key senators with dirt gleaned from the illegally obtained "filegate" FBI files.

It's known that, first of all, Clinton was collecting FBI files on his political opponents, "Filegate". Somewhat less publicly known, but still proven, is that when Filegate became public, Clinton hired private eyes to continue collecting the same sort of dirt.

So when dirt started surfacing on Republicans involved in the impeachment effort, like House Speaker Bob Livingston, then the Senate kills the proceedings without bothering to allow the case to be presented... That blackmail was what saved Clinton isn't proven, but it's a reasonable deduction, perfectly in keeping with his known offenses.

It may be we are seeing the beginning of a new era, where it will become more and more difficult for the U.S. Attorney to convince a jury that lying to the government is a bad thing, considering the number of times the individual jury members have experienced lying to them by government officials.
