HK P7M8 ammo questions?

I like to use Black Hills 124gr +P JHP for self defense in my SIG P226---would this be alright to use in the M8? What should I use for practice rounds? Thanks.

What you want to be a little wary with is lead only rounds. Lead gums up the gas tube quicker then jacketed bullets. Other than that P7s feed just about anything. I have an M8 and M13 and neither have ever malfunctioned with any ammo I have run through them, all grains, HP or not. I have never run lead though.

Yes, JHP's are fine in a P7. As Chris said, no lead. Use FMJ for practice.
