Any one have pics of an HK USP compact with the safety in on and off positions?

Thanks

:)

Well, I tried, I can't take a pic with flash or indoor lighting to save my life.
If nobody responds before first light, I'll snap a pic in the morning light.

*Ahem* sorry, afternoon light...

A few of the nice things about H&K's usp compact safety.
1. You can cycle the slide with the safety on.
2. You can pull the trigger with the safety on (Assist with your thumb) to pull the hammer back to fire single action.
3. Both the safety and decock are easy to use, instinctive.
(You may have to unlearn some stuff, esp. if you have a 1911 or SIG!)

Thanks caz I really appreciate it. I'm in the market for the same .45 you have. Nice looking gun you have there.

NIght guy - saw that already but thanks the same.

You can get the LEM trigger as an option, and I'm 100% positive the compact is configurable to one of many variants.
There is a chart in the owner's manual about the function and designation of the variants available.

Ah thanks - yep it's #7 - I didn't remember that being listed for some reason.

Now to decide on which one to get..........

Variant 1 DA/SAwith control lever (safety/decocking lever) on left
Variant 2 DA/SAwith control lever (safety/decocking lever) on right
Variant 3 DA/SAwith control lever (decocking lever) on left
Variant 4 DA/SAwith control lever (decocking lever) on right
Variant 5 DAO with control lever (safety lever) on left
Variant 6 DAO with control lever (safety lever) on right
Variant 7 DAO with no control lever
Variant 9 DA/SAwith control lever (safety lever) on left
Variant 10 DA/SAwith control lever (safety lever) on right

if you like DAO, try the LEM trigger, it's a reduced pull weight version, and I hear it's smooth like buttah.

HK is located 30 min from my house. I wonder if they have a display or showroom - I'll find out tomorrow when I call them. I don't see a lot of HK's in stock at gun shops around here, so maybe I can go over and check out these triggers in person. That LEM trigger sounds nice!
