HK USP Trigger Question?

Is there a way to lighten the double action trigger pull on a HK USP compact 9mm?

You can put in a lighter main spring. IIRC, HK uses a lighter spring for some versions like LEM or DAO. Wolff may also sell USP springs.
Of course anytime you lighten the main spring, you risk light primer strikes.

Thanks PH for the info. I didn't think to look at the wolf springs. I'm not looking for anything major. Just would be nice if it was a little lighter.

Hello,
I have a P30 that I purchased last year. I wanted the trigger and action tuned and ended up sending my gun to Gray Guns in Oregon. The work was timely and made a big difference in the trigger. I don't think it lightened it much, but did wonders for the takeup and reset.

Be careful of lightening the main spring. It WILL cause light strikes. My advice is the simplest--shoot the hell out of it in DAO mode. It'll lighten.
