Just found this website. Looks interesting. A compact tactical version of the USP.

Looks like a compact with tactical sights and a threaded barrel.

I am sure that is all it is. Reason I posted it is because according to the website HK is going to start producing them this way.

Not saying they won't offer thisilian sales since they also offer the USP Tactical (same thing but full size) for civilain but this is on the military/LEO part of thier site.
Nothing more than a USPcompact with diff. sights and a threaded bbl.

Hmmm...let's but a compact gun (normally considered/purchased for concealed caary purposes) add some exposed bbl with threads (which boots one's cool factor by the way ) so we can add a suppressor. I guess it's to carry with less noise or attatch the suppressor prior to using the gun in a defensive situation after asking the badguy to wait a second while you screw it on the bbl.

While I like the Hk models (have 2 w/ #3 next month), this just does nothing for me. I can see favorable uses for LE/military scenarios though.

I called up H&K earlier today on their Military LE extension and was told that I could purchase the barrel for $169. Before I could ask any more questions he connected me to some one else who could take my order. Unfortunately he wasn’t there so I left a message thinking he wouldn’t get back with me until after the weekend. About an hour later (10 minutes after I left for work) he called back and talked to my mom.

I have a USP Compact variant 3 in stainless. I have always wanted a suppressor for the gun, and have been wanting a long time for this. Hopefully this wont void the warranty. The next big question is about the suppressor it’s self. Luckily my class 3 dealer is good friends with Reed Knight of KAC, so could eventually procure one for me.

I’m going to call back on Tuesday or Wednesday since I have both days off. I’ll let you know.

Maybe this is worong but I thought I read somewhere that only certain suppressors were approved by HK for use on thier guns. Others would void the warranty.

Like I said, not sure when or where but I think I read this once. Check at HKPro.com for specifics and to see what others are using.

The only two suppressors which wont void the factory warranty are the Brügger & Thomet made in Switzerland. And the Knight Armament Corporation suppressors for the USP Tactical and the Mark 23
