Hog Hunt in Texas near Grand Prairie? HELP PLEASE!

I live in Chicago as of now, on January, 22 a friend and myself are driving to Grand Prairie, Texas to take a police officer examination for that city. We are making it a weeklong trip and would also want to do a little boar hunting wherever possible, hopefully no further West than Grand Prairie. All of the places near us that have boar, Indiana and Michigan, cost around $400 to hunt. I think that is a little pricy. If anyone would be able to help us out with hunting or at least some shooting, I would greatly appreciate it.

We are both safe shooters, FOID card holders (non felons), not that it matters in Texas, and interested in having some fun while taking a chance to advance our careers.

You realize all that area is metropolitan, right?

There are no unincorporated/county areas for miles (it's all city).

Yeah I realized that, but I figure there could be something between Tulsa and Dallas on Route 69/75.

You might actually have better luck in Oklahoma. Just about everything from Durant, OK to Grand Prairie is urban or suburban anymore...

A little down south , check the Langley Ranch in Centerville. Its dayhunt at a great price.
