Any fellow Michigan hunters know anywhere there is an abundance of wild pigs that can be hunted on state land or farmers inviting hunters to control a wild hog population???

What part of the state?

Ive hunted Ionia county my whole life and have only heard isolated reports of hogs throughout the state.

Nothing like we have down here where you see 10-20 at a time.

The only hog-hunting place in Michigan that I've heard of is a pay-for operation near Saginaw. They stock the "wild" hogs.
Yes, there's one between Howard city and Ceder Springs too that I've used before, I was hoping to find some wild I can hunt to fill the freezer wile "social distancing"

There was a place near Gaylord (maybe still there) that was a fenced operation and they had (apparently actual) Russian boar.

I just don’t think there are adequate numbers in the wild to facilitate an efficient use of time hunting them.

My dad shot one while deer hunting but it was obviously one that had recently escaped from a farm. They say to shoot those ones too so he did.
