What is needed for the stock and foreend installation of an 870 kit by Hogue?

For the stock, all you should need is a screwdriver. A spanner wrench will be needed to remove the forend. I replaced my son's original wood with a synthetic youth set from Outers. it came with a spanner wrench that fit both Mossberg and Remington.
If I can do it, anyone can.

The heck if I know what a spanner wrench is, but I cut a cheapie Compaq screw driver in half, and used a pair of needle nose pliers and turned it, and got that sucker off. What kind of screwdriver for the stock? It looks like a half pie from what I can tell.
