--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Put mine together a few days ago.It is a lever delayed blow back system-lead bullets don't effect delay system.Use of shims and minor hand fitting was all that was needed to obtain zero H & V play between bbl and frame. The bbl is made by BarSto-it is a match bull bbl and is free floated. The bbl axis is actually slightly lower than 1911 bbl.Balance feels like a 1911 with a rib.Because the moving mass is less than a 1911-there is little rotational torque, less apparent muzzle flip, less apparent felt recoil and seems like faster shot recovery. The recoil pulse is quicker-an advantage I think.Rear sight is adj. I don't like the front sight-is in not for BE shooting.Hogue customer svc is quite good so far. They are going to exchange the combat sight for a HB type front blade.Accuracy was as good as any of my custom target pistols-so far.It comes with a Picatinny rail and slide rackers.I put a scope on pistol and randomly tested LSWC-no load development.Using 4.1g/BE and 3.85g/N310 at 25 yards for preliminary testing-looking for trends. Wanting a load for 50 yards in a H&G 68 shape I found 3 to 5 cast bullets that shot .7 to 1.25"-with no varying of powder. Will do some serious load develpoment using BE,Clay and N310 powder.Quality, fit, finish and design concept of this conversion unit is quite impressive. I didn't pay list price either.Cheers http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/j359/ernierod1/H-A4.jpg http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/j359/ernierod1/H-A3.jpg http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/j359/ernierod1/H-A2.jpg
