Hogue Grips

Has anyone made a lanyard ring for a hogue wood grip. You can buy a ring for a rubber grip. It replaces the screw that holds the grip on. The one for the rubber grip may work for the wood grip. Hogue dont have one for the wood grip. What is the difference in hardware holding the two grips on, wood and rubber? thanks

I had reason to try interchanging the assembly screws between wooden Hogue Monogrips, and rubber ones, for the same revolver frame. The screws were not the same, so the screw-with-ring for the rubber one may not fit the wooden one.

IIRC the screw for the rubber grips is shorter than the one for the wooden grips. But I may have that backwards.
