I have a Remington 700 ADL short action and I am giving up on trying to make the crappy factory plastic stock and triggerguard assembly (cracked now) work for me. I have narrowed it down to the following two choices and would like the general opinion of which choice will give me better durability and stability for the receiver bed.
1. B&C Carbelite Classic in ADL configuration ($170)
OEM Remington steel matte ADL triggerguard ($25)
2. Hogue pillar bedded overmolded in BDL configuration ($105)
OEM Remington one piece aluminum BDL bottom metal ($70)
Thanks everyone!
