Hogue thickness on a 3913?

Well, I went ahead and ordered a couple more mags for my 3913, but it would seem that I just can't stop buying new toys for this gun...

I don't really have anything against normal S&W auto grips, but the pair that're on my 3913 now are kinda scratched up (I bought it used), so I'm debating putting a pair of Hogues on it. Thing is, I don't want to put them on there if they add much to the thickness of the grip. I can handle a thick gun just fine, but I really like the current thickness of this gun. It looks like they're significantly thicker on the Hogue website, but it isn't the greatest of pictures. Anyone out there have a set on a S&W auto? How do they compare to the stock grips in thickness?

Parke1- i've got houges on my 3913. they are deffinatly thicker than stock.i would "guesstimate" about a strong 1/4 of an inch thicker overall ( 1/8 inch on each side ) . i personally love the feel of the houges over the stock S&W grip, it feels much more solid in my hands than the plastic grip. just my 2 pennies worth.

wasn't looking for them, but noticed a set of the hogue 3913 grips in the clearance isle at a local sporting goods store. $6.97 so I said, what the hell...

The go on clean, really comfortable, and IMO didn't add very much width to the 3913. Then again i have relatively large hands and the 3913 has always felt small in my hands.

I'll put it this way... i got them fully installed and said to myself, "hmmm is this wider than stock?". To really decide for sure, I literally had to remove the hogues and hold them up end to end with the original grips to see the difference.

If you still are looking, let me know and I'll go back and see if they have any more... shouldn't be but a few dollars to mail it to you.
