Do any of you have the Hogue wood grips on a 3913? It seems Hogue is the only game in town for wood grips on the 3rd gen smiths. I really like the looks of the coco bolo wood...

I've got stock grips on my 3913 but I've handled one with the wooden grips.

They look really great but they do add thickness to the grip so if you have smaller hands or just don't want a thicker grip for CC they may not be for you.

+1 on adding thickness to your 3913 with Hogue woods.

I've also had their Goodyear's on mine, but came back full-circle to S&W stock grips. Again, it was a thickness issue.

Now I have the gray, stock grips. They feel just right and I've always liked the look.

I don't know if they make them for your pistol, but there are some manufacturers in Thailand that sell on ebay, making exotic wood grips for many pistols. I've read nothing but great reports on them, including from numerous members here. They're easy to find, and it's worth a quick look.

Good looking grips, boricua9mm, and a good suggestion.

Really nice looking LS too.

If you are reasonably skilled at woodworking, you can reduce, recontour and refinish them for an excellent end result.
Well, grips should be here today and I'll try them out. And since boricua9mm is in Tampa (as am I), if I think they are too think I'll hit him up for some insight on the woodworking. I can't imagine it being too hard - slow and careful sanding with fine grit sandpaper.

Update - Checkered Coco Bolo

The wood grips add ~.2 inches to the width. Not much in my opinion. And they look great :)
